Busia Project Commissioning by the Head of Public Service and CEO
There is a special kind of energy when a community comes together to mark a moment that will transform everyday life. ON 15th August, 2026, residents of Lugulu Village in Butula Constituency, Busia County, came together to witness the Head of Public Service, Hon. Felix Koskei commission the Lugulu Village Electrification Project. Hon. Koskei was accompanied by our CEO, Dr. Rose Mkalama, as the community marked this remarkable milestone.
For the 201 customers now connected to electricity, this milestone is about more than switching on the lights. It is about having more time to work, learn and connect; about creating more opportunities for businesses to grow; and about a community with more possibilities ahead.
